How does Fraud Detection work?

What are suspicion alerts?

The fraud detection feature in TeamLogger provides admins with real-time alerts on their dashboards when users attempt to bypass the software using fake activity-generating software ("clicker software"). Once enabled in the settings, admins can easily monitor and address suspicion alerts to track these users.

Steps to Enable Fraud Detection

Settings> Manage users> Settings option for the concerned user> Fraud Detection> Enable fraud challenge

When enabled, the tracker presents a quick math challenge to verify the user's active engagement. This helps ensure that the activity recorded is genuine and not simulated by software such as 'clicker programs'.

If the user fails to submit this simple math test, then that would mean that the user is possibly away from the computer screen and using a clicker program to generate fake activity. When that happens, a suspicion alert message will appear on the Admin dashboard as shown below. An alert should not be automatically interpreted as cheating but should be confirmed by manually reviewing the screenshots of the date and time mentioned in the alert.
