Zoho People Integration with the TeamLogger.

To integrate with Zoho People, follow the steps below to generate a self-client authorization code:

NoteBefore starting, make sure to enable the Attendance module in Zoho People before proceeding with the integration.


Step 1 - From the Teamlogger admin dashboard, Click on "Settings" > Zoho People and Select the Correct Auth Server.


- Choose the appropriate authorization server for your Zoho account based on your region.

Step 2 - Log In to the Zoho API Console.

Access the Zoho API Console by logging into your Zoho account.
   http://api-console.zoho.com/

Step 3 - Add a Self Client.

Click on the "Add Client" button.
- Choose the option "Self Client" and Click on "Create"

Step 4 - Record Client ID and Client Secret.

-  A Client ID and Client Secret will be created and shown under the "Client Secret tab". You can copy these and Enter these values in the designated fields in the TeamLogger portal.

Step 5 - Generate the Authorization Code.

- Click on the "Generate Code" button to create the authorization code.

Step 6 - Enter the Scope.

Use the scope: ZOHOPEOPLE.attendance.ALL


Step 7 - Set the Time Duration.

Select 10 minutes as the time duration for the code generation.

Step 8 - Generate the Code.

- After setting the values, generate the code by clicking on "Create".

(Note: Scope Description can be anything for your understanding.)

- Copy and enter it in the provided field in the TeamLogger portal.

Step 9 - Save the Token.


Click on "Save Token" to complete the process.

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS

• Ensure the "Employee Code" on teamlogger.com matches the "Employee ID" on Zoho People. To set employee code, please go to Settings → User Settings → Profile

• Verify that the timezone is correctly set for the employee on teamlogger.com. To set the timezone for an employee, please go to Settings → User Settings - Settings → Timezone Workday & Workweek.
