Setting up leave types

The leave types feature in TeamLogger software provides an efficient way for employees to request time off and for managers to keep track of their team's leave requests. With this feature, employees can select from various leave types, including vacation, sick leave, personal days, and more. They can then submit their request and include any necessary details, such as the dates they will be absent and the reason for their leave. 

Managers can then approve or deny the request, and the employee will be notified of the decision. This feature streamlines the leave request process, reducing confusion and improving communication between employees and managers.


Steps to set up the leave types

Step 1) Click on Admin> Leave Policies

Step 2) Click on "Add New Leave Type"
Step 3) Enter the Name of the leave type and Limit period. You also get other options like Carry forward, Allow half leave,  Record without approval and Restrict during the probation period. 

Step 4) Click on Save

Note: You can also create different leave policies for different types of Employees, Managers, and Admins depending on their leave structure. 

You can go to Admin> User> Settings option> Leave Settings for defining and setting the leave policies for individual users.
